Vacuum comparison - Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 vs BISSELL PowerForce Helix
Same type but from two different reputable brands, Shark NV360 and BISSELL PowerForce Helix both have basic features but efficient performance for making your house clean and tidy. Let's check out these two upright vacuums to see how they work and tell the differences.
Similarities of both vacuums
First of all, these upright vacuums come from two user-friendly vacuum manufactures in terms of price range. Shark Navigator Lift-away Deluxe NV360 upright vacuum costs around $200 while BISSELL PowerForce Helix upright vacuum is half cheaper.
Most of the parts are made of plastic and there are detached canisters for quick assembly and cleaning. Swivel steering has good support for manoeuvring and is easy to hold on. However, the main weaknesses on the design of both are the bulky construction and short power cords that reduce cleaning range and cause time loss.
Furthermore, it seems like hardwood floors are the area where these upright vacuums all perform worse than they do on carpet. Most large debris, pet hair, and dust particles are sucked in completely over several passes.
Both vacuum cleaners are fully equipped with accessories for different purposes such as crevice tools and suction nozzles.
Differences
The biggest difference between the NV360 Shark vacuum and the BISSELL PowerForce Helix is the quick and easy disassembly of the vacuum cleaner's parts. For example, the brush roll of the Shark navigator NV360 is not removable (you will have to remove the suction head of the device). Meanwhile, the brush roll and the whole cyclone unit of BISSELL PowerForce Helix can be detached to clean or pull out tangled hair.
Another notable difference that we want to mention in terms of the design of both upright vacuums is that PowerForce Helix does not have a rotatable nozzle and the brush roll will not automatically turn off when the device is moved to hardwood floor to operate. Therefore, some types of debris can be swept out once it is sucked in.
The second difference is the cleaning modes. These two devices's performance may not be too distinguished, but the NV360 Shark vacuum has two options "I" and "II" depending on the cleaning area. On the other hand, PowerForce Helix has a 5-mode level adjustment to suit every area of your home.
As for the filter system, it is a pity that the BISSELL PowerForce Helix does not have a certified HEPA filter, even though the criteria for filtering the air, odors and allergens are always at the forefront.
Final thoughts
Through our general analysis above, we can fully see that Shark NV360 Reviews have really outstanding advantages. However, we believe that the BISSELL PowerForce Helix upright vacuum is more suitable for a modest space and compared to the price range of about $100 for a vacuum cleaner, the PowerForce Helix is not a bad choice at all.
That being said, if you have any further questions, please leave a comment right below.
