Taito Vewlix Diamond Replica Project
Hello guys.
I finished my Custom Vewlix Diamond Edition Cabinet.
I made it by MDF. You can see the all images of the whole process.
The whole process is about 2 months. I didn't work full time.
I design it for PC and PS3 for now. But after Niko Release the Nesica Multi system, i will put my Taito Type X2 main board in the cabinet. And i will wire the all system for jamma.
For now Im just using it with Attract mode Fronted.
You can watch the video:

Re: Taito Vewlix Diamond Replica Project
Well, what have we here?
Nice piece of work, dude!!
Can you give us some more details about the tools you used, particularly for beveling. Almost every DIYers of this Vewlix had issues with this
I like the way you did the arch. I think this method give the best result regarding symmetry and cleanliness.
What do you think about sharing you 3D model. As you're using Fusion 360, maybe you can share an Inventor model?

Re: Taito Vewlix Diamond Replica Project
Well done !
That's a huge work for only 2 months.
It seems that you simplified the back compared to my design.
Anyway the result is great !
Concerning my Vewlix I completed the building with the marquee and control panel installation.
I am working now on Hyperspin and Software settings...
I will post pictures as soon as possible.
Which was the hardest step for you, during the construction ?

How did you connect the control panel below to the base?
